Enjoy this entire lasagna casserole for under 500 calories... because cutting for body composition doesn’t have to mean cutting out your favourite foods. Even if you’re not cutting, this recipe is a great way to boost your vegetable intake - I personally pair it with a buttery piece of sourdough to soak up all the saucy goodness 😍
200g heart of palms lasagna sheets (I bought these on @naturamarketca but some local stores have canned versions)
150g sautéed mushrooms
50g spinach or arugula
1 cup simply organic tomato sauce
60g vegan mozzarella
5oz @trulocal grass fed beef, cooked with Italian spice blend
Fresh basil
Directions:
Spray your cooking dish and spread a thin layer of tomato sauce.
Layer the noodles, then 1/2 the beef, 1/2 the sauce and top with greens and 1/3 of the cheese.
Repeat another layer and top with remaining noodles, cheese and fresh basil.
Air fry at 350 for 30 mins (or bake for an hour if you haven’t jumped the kitchen gadgets gun yet).
